Integrative Physician · Founder & President, Philippine Society of Orthomolecular Medicine
Dr. Homer Lim is a Filipino physician known for his work in integrative and complementary medicine, particularly integrative oncology, geriatrics and chronic degenerative disease care. He is a geriatrician by training rather than an oncologist — a point he makes himself during this workshop, describing how he came to treat cancer patients because they kept arriving at his practice after conventional treatment had failed them, or out of fear of chemotherapy and radiation.
His practice centres on integrating conventional and complementary cancer care, alongside the management of diabetes, Parkinson's disease, autoimmune disorders and other chronic illness. He is Medical Director of Akesis Holistic Health in Quezon City, a consultant at Beautylosophy in Bonifacio Global City and at Tree of Life Hub in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and CEO of Umahan Med Wellness Consultancy.
Dr. Lim is Founder and President of the Philippine Society of Orthomolecular Medicine (PSOM), President of the International Anti-Aging and Integrative Medicine Society, and Vice President of the International Society for Integrated Anti-Aging Medicine. He lectures and runs workshops across the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and elsewhere in Southeast Asia on nutrition, acupuncture, integrative cancer care, detoxification and orthomolecular medicine.
The workshop on NS Videos is a recording of Dr. Lim teaching other physicians the approach he uses in his own practice — he states in the sessions that he has prescribed repurposed drugs clinically for roughly ten years. The material is presented as his clinical experience and his reading of the published literature, for physicians to evaluate against their own judgement and their own patients.
